Jan visits Yellow Class

Today Jan came to visit Yellow Class to talk about how Christian Aid tries to help those in need. We made a paper chain, we wrote on each piece of paper how we could change the world we live in and what we would change.  

Red Class Beach Party

We had a fabulous time consolidating our learning about ‘holidays’ at our beach party. We paddled, made a beach in a bottle, made sand castles and flags, postcards, dancing, and making the ice cream sundaes that we had designed!

Blue Class Ten Pieces Assembly!

This morning, Blue Class held their assembly for parents. It was a showcase of our creative responses to a selection of classical music from the BBC ‘Ten Pieces’ project.  First, we shared ‘Ride of the Valkyries’ from Richard Wagner’s Ring Cycle. Week Two at Forest School

The weather was not so kind to us today but they do say there’s no such thing as the wrong weather just the wrong clothes! So we wrapped up in our waterproofs and set off to the woods. Orange class go looking for magic beans!

Orange class have been out in the woodland looking for Jack. They didn’t find him but they did find some magic beans which they have planted into pots. Year 5 take control of the Garden

Indigo class have had a very hard working and productive morning getting to grips with the school garden. We used what we had learnt from our pen pal Lakshmi to plan out lots of activities including making puppets of Rama, Sita and the wicked Ravanna from the Diwali story and making Rangoli patterns outside our door. Our First Weeks in Red Class
