This week in Forest School we talked about wreaths that decorate doors during Christmas. The children worked with Miss Hays and Mrs Bradley to make their own Christmas wreaths out of willow and a variety of foliage that the children collected in our Forest School area. The children then took their beautiful wreaths home to hang on their front doors.

Christmas dinner

We loved getting into the sprit of Christmas last week by having our Christmas dinner together in the hall. The children had worked hard in the classroom with Miss Hays and Mrs Bradley to make their own Christmas placements for our special meal. We loved singing to our favourite Christmas tunes as we ate our lunch.

The Nativity

The whole of Key Stage One worked so hard last week to perform The Nativity play to all our friends and family. We were so proud of our wonderful children with all the lines, dances and songs they learnt to make it such a wonderful play! Well done everyone!
