Oxfam Water Week

Eco-council have done a fantastic job organising events for the Oxfam Water Week. All week the children have been bringing loose change in to try and fill a water bottle. KS2 Sports day!

Yesterday, Monday 3rd July, St. Mary’s held their annual KS2 sports day afternoon. All parents were invited to watch the children complete a number of activities testing both individually and within teams including, sprint races, javelin, long jump, obstacle races, relay, egg and spoon, sack races and target games. Fun with Poetry!

Last week at Forest school

This morning was our last session at Forest school for this school year. Tree Knowledge

This week at Forest school Green class have been finding out just what wonderful trees are living and growing in our woodland area. We used our tree identification sheets to look closely at the leaves, seeds and bark and identify what specimen we were looking at. Trees, Wonderful Trees!

Green class have had their first session at Forest school this week and  have been finding out some unusual things about trees. Did you know trees have faces? Health Awareness Day

Last Friday the whole school was involved in a Health awareness day which highlighted different ways in which we can stay healthy. On Wednesday 28th September, Green class travelled back to the Stone Age with two time-travelling doctors, Doctor Spudacus and Doctor Doctor Doctor Doctor Jnr 3rd Esquire.
