ABCD Dance Show

This morning the street dance and drama after school clubs put on a spectacular show for the whole school and parents too! It was amazing to see how confident even the youngest children were. What a treat it was! Take a look at the photos…


Reddish Library trip

On Tuesday morning, Green Class visited Reddish Library. We discussed the difference between fiction and non-fiction texts and how to search for them in the library. We learned that fiction books are alphabetically arranged in the library by the author’s surname, whilst the non-fiction texts can be searched using the Dewey Decimal System.  We then had time to explore the wonderful range of books

Manchester Cathedral Trip

In Spring 2, Year 3 spent a day visiting Manchester Cathedral. We explored the different areas of the Cathedral, including the stained glass windows, which each told a different story from the bible. To celebrate British Science Week, Mrs Lee (who teaches Science in a high school), spent time with each class to conduct Science investigations under the 3 headings of Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Adventure and Mystery stories
