Thank you to everyone who joined us on a sunny June day to make a difference to our school.
Our Fence painting and artificial grass preparation day was a massive success.
Thank you to everyone who worked hard to ‘make it happen’ or supported by buying at the latest fund raising events.
Thank you for your contributions and to FOSM Committee for their 6am early start!
We are the school’s Parent and Teacher Association (PTA). We thought that Friends of St Mary’s (FOSM) sounded more friendly and inclusive so we changed our name. All parents and family of children at the school are automatically members of FOSM – so a very warm welcome to you all. We hope you’d like to get more involved in the activities that FOSM helps to organise.
We organise a variety of fun events for all the family to raise funds that can then be spent on improving the school and its learning environment. There are a wide variety of activities including Christmas and Summer fairs, Bop and Bingo, Family Fun Nights, as well as cake sales, raffles and competitions. Any new ideas are always welcomed.
Our FOSM events are very successful and last year we raised over £4000! FOSM really does make a difference to the school both in terms of the equipment we’ve paid for and also the overall school environment. In the past year we’ve paid for iPads, iPods, scooter racks, a mobile music systems and even a tumble drier!
We are always looking for willing helpers and volunteers to come along and join the planning and running of out FOSM events. Would you like to receive information about what we decided at out regular FOSM meetings?
Would you be willing to come along and help run a stall at one of our events?
We would really appreciate any new help or ideas no matter how small. So if you are interested please let us know and post your thoughts in our suggestions box at school.
