As part of our RE topic 'Special Places', the children have been learning all about special places of worship. We went on a visit to St Mary's church. Mary and Denise showed us around the church, they showed us where the choir sings, the stained-glass windows and where babies are baptised. We talked about special celebrations that happen in churches, and we even created our own pretend wedding in the church with the children!
