Our trip to Reddish Vale

As part of our Geography work on mountains, we have compared our local area to Innsbruck, a mountain city in the Alps. We have thought about the physical and human features of Innsbruck and compared these to the physical and human features found in Reddish. To complement this, we took a walk round Reddish Vale Country Park, where we searched for physical and human features, wrote them down and even sketched some, including the iconic viaduct. We worked on our map-reading skills on our walk, and followed clues to find answers to questions. We also did some bird and duck identifying and even got to feed them!
